Kids Film Crew began as Kids Film Club in 2004. The Club was started by Debbie Gonzalez. An educator of children for 12 years, Debbie noticed the need for classes that utilized the seeds of creativity already inherent in children. She sought to find ways to foster and grow, children’s interests in the area of art and art related fields. Being in the film industry for the past 7 years, inspired Debbie to began filmmaking classes for kids. Bringing together industry professionals allowed the children to learn from instructors who loved the field that they were in, and allowed the instructors to share their unique gifts and creativity. Since then not only have we changed our name, but we have continued to grow.
